Pamela Hantzara
Supply Chain Manager
My name is Pamela Hantzara. I’m very pleased to meet you in writing.
As a child, I remember watching intently my parents talking to their customers, communicating with suppliers, rushing to accountants and financial advisors. I paid attention to every detail and tried to build my trust in them.
I finished school in Meligalas, Messinia, but my journey in higher studies started at the Athens University of Economics and Business, in the Department of Economics. I followed in my sister Marina’s footsteps, perhaps because we shared a common dream of ultimately returning to our family business.
I wanted to go back and become an integral part of the company one day.
For two years, and while still a student, I worked for an accounting firm. I feel lucky and happy for this experience, because a good businesswoman does not necessarily understand the accounting aspects of her business. But I have this additional perspective now.
I am currently working in our company’s supply chain. I deal with the company’s internal and external data, such as the supply of raw and secondary materials, the process of storing our products to improve competitiveness and the correct transportation of our commodities.
I am also in charge of our accounting department. I take care of payments and invoicing. I have daily contact with the accounting departments of our partner companies for their account statements. I make sure that there is direct communication with our external accountants to carry out all the necessary procedures for our business.
My main objective is to continuously monitor the market. The changes that are happening in it are numerous, and we must always be ready to adapt.
